Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
1. What we collect
Nothing. Arari collects no information about you. No account is required, and there is no screen that sends your name, email or phone number to the developer. Arari is declared as "Data Not Collected" on its App Store privacy label.
2. Where your data lives
Clients, projects, time entries, expenses and documents are stored on your device. Neither the developer nor any third party can read them.
3. If you turn on iCloud sync
With sync enabled, that data is stored in your own iCloud account (its private database) and kept in step across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. It is held by Apple and never passes through the developer's servers. The developer cannot read it. Sync is off by default and can be turned off again at any time.
4. Sending data elsewhere
Apart from the iCloud sync you choose to enable, Arari does not send your data anywhere. There is no analytics, no advertising SDK and no tracking. It does not fetch anything from external services either, including exchange rates. In-app purchases are handled by Apple's App Store; the developer never receives payment details.
5. Device features
- Face ID / Touch ID — used only to unlock the app. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never seen by the developer
- Calendar — read only, to show events you already have next to your projects. Nothing is written or uploaded
Arari does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library or Health, and never asks for them.
6. Files you export
PDF, CSV and backup files leave your device only when you choose where to send or save them. What happens after that is governed by the terms and privacy policy of the destination you chose.
7. Deleting your data
Use "Settings → Delete all data" in the app at any time. Deleting the app also removes the data on the device (exported backup files and anything stored in iCloud must be deleted separately).
8. Children
Arari is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. Since no information about users is collected, no information about children is collected either.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.

Controller, contact and your rights
This app is provided by freetokyo, an independent developer, who acts as the data controller. For any question about this policy or about personal data, contact freetokyo2020@yahoo.co.jp. We normally reply within five business days.
If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to withdraw consent and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete and correct the personal information collected about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.
Where this app stores data only on your device, we have no access to it, so most of these rights are exercised directly on the device: delete or export inside the app, or delete the app. We will still answer any request you send us.
Retention: on-device data is kept until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are deleted 24 months after the request is closed.
