1. Information We Collect

HitoriLog ("this app") never collects the personal information or usage data of users. All records you enter are stored only on your device, and are never sent to external servers.

2. Where Data Is Stored

iOS: Record data is stored only in the local storage (SwiftData) on your iPhone. If you use the premium iCloud backup feature, it is backed up to Apple's iCloud (private database), but it cannot be accessed by other users or the developer.

Android: Record data is stored only in a local database (Room) on your Android device. The Android version has no cloud backup feature — the iCloud backup offered as a paid feature on iOS is not provided on Android. Android's own cloud backup (Google Drive) and device-to-device transfer are both disabled by the app. Deleting the app removes the records from the device, and no copy is left outside it.

3. Provision to Third Parties

Since no data is collected, there is no provision to third parties. This app does not use any analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or tracking SDK.

4. Account Registration

No account registration is required. Signing in is never necessary to use this app.

5. Billing and Payments

iOS: Payment for in-app purchases (one-time) is processed through Apple's App Store. The developer never receives payment information such as card numbers.

Android: Payment for in-app purchases (one-time) is processed through Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment, and payment information such as card numbers never reaches the developer. For billing enquiries, please contact Google Play support.

6. Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is changed, this page will be updated. Significant changes will be announced within the app.

Controller, contact and your rights

This app is provided by freetokyo, an independent developer, who acts as the data controller. For any question about this policy or about personal data, contact freetokyo2020@yahoo.co.jp. We normally reply within five business days.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to withdraw consent and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete and correct the personal information collected about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.

Where this app stores data only on your device, we have no access to it, so most of these rights are exercised directly on the device: delete or export inside the app, or delete the app. We will still answer any request you send us.

Retention: on-device data is kept until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are deleted 24 months after the request is closed.
