Your stress, as one number.

Calmgraph turns Apple Watch HRV or quick subjective check-ins into a daily 0–100 stress score, layered with cause tags so you can see what moved it. Fully offline. No subscription, no account, one-time purchase.

What it does

Measured against your personal baseline rather than a single reading, so daily noise doesn't throw you off.

Daily score

A 0–100 score from HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep, relative to your personal baseline. The first 14 days are a calibration period shown as provisional.

Cause tags

Tag work, sleep, exercise, caffeine and more onto your score, and look back at what may have moved it.

Calendar and past-day editing

A month at a glance as a colour heatmap. Tap any past day to fix its tags or check-in after the fact.

Timeline and period summary

See your score over 7 / 30 / 90 days, with the average, highest and lowest day, and days per band.

Weekly insight

See what likely moved your score each week. These are correlations, not conclusions.

Tag correlations (Pro)

Across your whole history, compare your average on days with a tag against days without it. The sample size is always shown.

Monthly & yearly summary (Pro)

Averages by month and by year, with the split between calm, middle and strain days. The longer you use it, the clearer the seasons get.

Weekly history (Pro)

Past weeks with their average and what was moving your score that week. The number of days is always shown.

Automatic tags from Apple Watch (Pro)

Steps, breathing rate and deep sleep add differences your watch can see without you logging anything. They are never used to calculate your score.

Bands you can set yourself

Decide where strain, middle and calm change over. The score values themselves do not change.

Apple Watch and widgets

The Watch app and three complications (today’s score, a 7-day trend, and a one-tap check-in) put your score on your watch face and let you check in from your wrist — free. You can also run a breathing session and tag a day from the Watch alone. Home and Lock Screen widgets are part of Pro.

Breathing guide and reminders

A 1, 3, or 5 minute breathing guide. Logging reminders, a weekly review, and lower-than-usual day notices are all optional.

Fully on-device, with backup

Everything is processed on your device. There is no cloud sync, but you can export a backup to one file and restore it on another device.

How it works

  1. Get started — connect Apple Health or choose check-in mode (you can change this later).
  2. Log — check your morning score and tag the cause with one tap. Aim for under 30 seconds a day.
  3. Reflect — on the weekend, read the weekly insight of what moved your score.

FAQ

Is an Apple Watch required?

No. Quick 1-tap check-ins give you the same visualization on their own. With a Watch, your score is computed automatically from HRV and more.

Where is my data stored?

Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent off-device, collected, or used for advertising. No account is needed, and every feature works in airplane mode.

Why are the first 14 days provisional?

Your score is measured against your personal baseline. It grows more accurate as it learns, so the first 14 days are a calibration period.

Is it a subscription?

No. It's a one-time purchase (US$9.99). Today's score and your recent timeline are available for free.

Is there an Apple Watch app?

Yes. The Watch app and complication show your score on your watch face and let you check in from your wrist. The Watch side is free.

Can I fix a day I forgot to tag?

Yes. In the trend tab, switch to the calendar and tap any past day to edit or delete its tags and check-in.

What happens to my data when I change devices?

There is no cloud sync, so use Settings › Backup & restore to export a single file and read it back on the new device (Pro).

About the Android version

An Android version of Calmgraph is in preparation. It supports Android 9.0 and later and will be published on Google Play. It also supports Wear OS watches, not just phones.

Both implementations are checked against the same verification data so that the Android build calculates and judges exactly as the iOS one does. Storage and backup behaviour is described in the privacy policy.

We are not linking to a store page until it is live. We will announce it here and on the support page.
