1. Purpose of the App
Heyalog (hereinafter 'the App') is a tool that helps record the condition of rooms with photos and checklists at move-in and move-out from rental housing, and create PDF reports.
It provides checklists based on the 'Ministry Guidelines on Disputes over Restoration to Original Condition', but does not aim to determine legal rights or obligations or replace specific professional advice (legal, real estate, etc.
).
2. PDF Reports
PDF reports generated by this app are summaries of information recorded by the user.
The legal evidentiary value and effectiveness of reports varies depending on circumstances, and the developer does not guarantee this.
The user is responsible for specific decisions in move-out negotiations or disputes.
Consult a professional (lawyer, real estate agent, etc.
) if necessary.
3. Ministry Guidelines
The checklists in this app are inspired by the 'Ministry Guidelines on Disputes over Restoration to Original Condition' but are not official content. For the interpretation and application of the guidelines, refer to the Ministry's official materials and expert opinions.
4. Terms of Use
This app is for personal use. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, modification, or commercial use of this app's content is prohibited. The app is intended for use in Japan.
5. Fees and Purchases
Photo recording at move-in, the checklist, and PDF creation are free.
Same-angle comparison photography at move-out, the comparative PDF report, and bulk data export are unlocked with a one-time purchase (no subscription).
Purchase is made through the App Store and Apple's terms of use apply.
Can be restored with the same Apple ID from 'Settings → Restore Purchases'.
6. Disclaimer
This app is provided 'as is'. The developer is not responsible for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this app (including data loss, move-out disputes, and indirect damages). App functions may change without prior notice due to changes in iOS platform specifications.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law.
8. Changes to Terms
If the terms of use change, this page will be updated. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
