Article 1: Definitions

App: Miawell (iOS). Developer: the individual or company developing and providing the app. User: anyone who downloads or uses the app. Content: data entered and saved by the user in the app (cat records, photos, etc.).

Article 2: Service Content

Miawell is designed primarily for cat owners and provides: daily health logs (weight, meals, litter, water, notes and one photo per day); symptom records and alerts based on what you log; trend charts; a PDF summary to show your vet; behavior coaching programs and knowledge articles; backup, CSV export and iCloud sync inside your own Apple Account. Which features are free and which need Premium is set out in Article 4.

Miawell is not a substitute for veterinary care and does not diagnose anything. The daily condition is a summary of what you entered yourself. If something concerns you, please contact your veterinarian.

Article 3: Eligibility

This app is available to users aged 13 and over. Minors require parental consent. The app is provided in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

Article 4: Premium and Billing

Premium is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. You pay once: it is not a subscription, there is no free trial, and it never renews. Family Sharing is included.

Prices vary by country or region; the price shown on the App Store at the time of purchase applies.

Free forever: daily logging, photo attachments, the weekly chart, alert notifications, one coaching program, two knowledge articles, a preview of the weekly recap (from day 7), 1 trial vet PDF (watermarked). Premium unlocks: month and three-month charts, the weekly recap, the vet PDF, all six coaching programs, every knowledge article.

Purchases are made via Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment policy.

On other devices signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Restore purchase to unlock Premium.

Refunds follow Apple's refund policy.

Subscriptions purchased in version 1.3 or earlier remain valid until the end of the paid period and can be cancelled at any time in your App Store subscription settings.

Article 5: Prohibited Activities

Users must not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app; copy, redistribute, or sell the app without authorization; use the app for illegal purposes; infringe third-party rights; interfere with the app's normal operation.

Article 6: Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the app belong to the developer. These Terms grant the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. Copyright in content entered by the user belongs to the user.

Article 7: Disclaimer

The app is provided as-is.

The developer is not responsible for data loss or corruption; regular backups are recommended.

The developer is not liable for damages arising from use of or inability to use the app.

Article 8: Service Changes and Suspension

The developer may change, add, or remove features without prior notice. The service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance or technical reasons. The developer is not liable for any resulting damages.

Article 9: Changes to Terms

The developer reserves the right to change these Terms. Important changes will be announced in the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 10: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive first-instance jurisdiction for disputes related to these Terms.
