Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Unelog ("the app") puts your privacy first.

Information we collect

The app collects no personal information or usage data whatsoever. Records such as plots, ridges, plantings, visits, and contracts are stored on your device. No account registration is required. Only if you turn on iCloud sync in Settings do your records and photos sync to your own iCloud (Apple's CloudKit private database), so devices signed in to the same Apple Account show the same content. Sync is off by default. Synced data lives in your iCloud and the developer cannot access it. You can turn it off at any time and delete the iCloud copy from within the app.

Photo access

When you attach a photo to a planting record, only the image you select through the iOS photo picker is imported into the app. The app does not access your entire photo library and does not send anything externally.

Notifications

Contract reminders are local notifications that stay entirely on your device. Notification content is never sent to an external server.

Weather feature and location

Only when you turn on the weather feature (full access, off by default) are your plot's coordinates sent to Apple's weather service (WeatherKit) to fetch weather information. The coordinates are used only to fetch weather; the app does not store, collect, or share them with third parties. Your cultivation records are never sent. You can stop using location at any time from iOS Settings.

Third-party sharing

Because no data is collected, there is nothing to share with third parties. We use no analytics SDKs and no advertising SDKs.

Controller, contact and your rights

This app is provided by freetokyo, an independent developer, who acts as the data controller. For any question about this policy or about personal data, contact freetokyo2020@yahoo.co.jp. We normally reply within five business days.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to withdraw consent and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete and correct the personal information collected about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.

Where this app stores data only on your device, we have no access to it, so most of these rights are exercised directly on the device: delete or export inside the app, or delete the app. We will still answer any request you send us.

Retention: on-device data is kept until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are deleted 24 months after the request is closed.
