Is Jamalog really offline?

Yes. All your data is stored only on your device. There is no account, no sign-in and no data collection.

What languages are supported?

Arabic (with right-to-left layout), English and Japanese. Choose your app language in the iOS Settings app.

How do I build a pedigree?

Open a camel, go to the Bloodline tab, then set the sire and dam on each camel from its edit screen. The chart, the offspring list and the inbreeding coefficient update automatically. Tap any ancestor or descendant to jump to that camel.

How do reminders work?

Reminders use local notifications — nothing leaves your device. The free plan reminds you 7 days ahead; Jamalog Pro adds 60- and 30-day reminders, and applies them to reminders you had already created. You choose the hour they arrive in Settings.

How do I restore my subscription?

Go to Settings inside the app and tap “Restore purchases.” Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account used to subscribe.

How do I cancel Jamalog Pro?

Open the App Store app → tap your account → Subscriptions → Jamalog → Cancel. Your data remains on your device, and you keep up to three camels on the free plan.

I am changing to a new iPhone. How do I move my records?

Open Settings inside the app and tap “Export a backup file.” Save the file somewhere you control (Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, email). On the new device install Jamalog, open Settings and tap “Restore from a backup file.” Backup and restore are free on every plan, and the file holds camels, health, races, pedigree, documents and photos.

Can I store a PDF, not just a photo?

Yes. When adding a document you can choose a PDF or image file, or scan paper with the camera. Set an expiry date on registration or insurance papers and Jamalog reminds you before they lapse.

My reminders are not arriving.

Open the Reminders tab. If notifications are off, a banner appears with a button to open iOS Settings. Jamalog only asks for notification permission when you save your first reminder, so it is easy to have skipped it. You can also choose the hour reminders arrive in the app's Settings.

Is this an official camel registry?

No. Jamalog is a private, personal logbook. It is not an official or government registry and does not replace one. Health entries are records only, not veterinary advice.
